FCKEditor for custom fields?

Hi!

Is there any way to use the FCKEditor for custom fields (type text area)?

The variable $tlCfg->gui->text_editor seems to have no effect on custom fields text areas.

custom fields do not support rich editing and there are NO PLANS to add this support.
Documentation inside config.inc.php must be clear regarding what text areas are affected by config parameter you refer to.
If not documented => does not work

The documentation should be corrected then. In testlink_user_manual.pdf chapter 8.4 Table 1 the field contents of text area is defined as "Rich text".
That's confusing.

Size of the field is by default 255. There is no option to change this.
Could you please let me know, if there is a possibility to type something with size 5000.
