RC(Beta 6) database modifications

hi all,
i'm in charge of our local testlink and I have been tasked to move from 1.8.4 to 1.9.x ; Since testlink 1.9.x is still in beta, only one or two teams that absolutely need the new features of TL 1.9 (the platforms addition) and decide that the risks of running testlink beta are worth it.
I was wondering what schedule is for Beta 6 (or Release Candidate 1) and if there will be any more database changes to it. I was considering updating now to 1.9.5 and editing out a few pages that don't work that well (ex. test result matrix for projects with over 20.000 testcases) and update again to RC or final when it's out by just copy-pasting the php files. So is DB 1.3 from beta 5 the final version of database layout for Testlink 1.9.x ?
