Cannot save the Excel file in XML Data (*.xml) format

I am using Testlink 1.9 (Prague). When I am transferring test cases from Excel to Testlink according to excel2TestLink.pdf, I meet problem at step 6. After I copy my data into the excel file accordingly and want to save the file in XML Data (*.xml) format, a message tells me that "Cannot save or export XML data. The XML maps in this workbook are not exportable". As a result, I am blocked at step 6 and cannot continue to import updated XML file into Testlink.
