Blank test suites just appeared!?!

Recently upgraded from 1.7.4 to 1.9.1

When I open Specification, The tree is populated with "empty" test suites (which were not there in our previous 1.7.4 version).
I don't see a way to remove them.

Something in 1.7.4 cause these to appear in 1.9.1 on the tree?
How does one remove them?
