Save and move to next not advancing to next test case

Howdy Y'all,

I am evaluating whether or not our QA team should use TestLink or not. So far we all like it, but there is one pain point that keeps coming up. Some of the testers are reporting that when they press the "Save and move to next" button, the page is refreshed with the same test case and not advancing to the next test case.

I understand that the feature is limited to advancing in the TestSuite, but this is also happening in the middle of the TestSuite. I thought it might be browser specific, but we have tested with FireFox5, IE8, and Chrome. It doesn't seem to be browser specific.

Any ideas on what might be happening here, or how to avert it?

I think they've broken it, because it used to work in 1.9. It's a real shame, because they've fixed everything else that was wrong in 1.9..

Just had a tester show me it not working, because I was sceptical. It means a few more button presses for them, and there's one thing that bugs them/me, it's having to click too many buttons. Users, we're an ungrateful bunch

This smells a lot like http://mantis.testlink.org/view.php?id=461 although, not being a testlink user, I don't know. I don't run tests..

That defect (incase you can't see it) suggests the "save and next" button doesn't work if the user has pressed "save" first. The bad news? the dev team have marked it as "resolved " and "won't fix"
