Customizing Mainpage

Hi,

can anyone tell me how to customize the mainpage? after login there is a big blue field in the middle of the mainpage.
i want to write some text there, but i don't know where i can find the template. :roll:

Really? File: gui/templates/mainPage.tpl

Firefox can easily help locate the page-in-use:
1. right click somewhere in the lower main page area (below the toolbar)
2. click 'This Frame' on the context menu
3. then on the submenu:
'View Frame Source' -- will show the file path in the title bar.
'View Frame Info' -- will show the file path on the 'General' section (which should appear first), next to the Address: label.

Note that the file shown in the path, will be php. The template file typically has the same name, somewhere down in the gui/templates/ directory, but ends with a .tpl extension. [as shown above next to the red]

Also, it is not uncommon to find nested templates within a template, and the nested templates might also have nested templates of their own, and so on...
