Hey Y'all,

Is there a way to add multiple test cases to a test plan at one time? Currently, the process I am using only allows me to add one test case at a time, as described below:

1. Click on Test Reports and Metrics.
2. Click on Test Cases Not Assigned To Any Test Plan.
3. Click on the pencil (Test Spec Design).
4. Click on the Add To Test Plan button.
5. Select the test plans that I want this test case added to.
6. Click Add.
7. Close the Test Spec Design window.

Rinse and Repeat for each new test case.

I am wondering if there is a way to multi-select a list of test cases and then add them to all at once to a test plan. Maybe I am doing this wrong and there is another way to add test cases to test plans.

Thanks for your time.

Hmm, well what do most of you guys do when lots of new test cases are created? How do you get say 1000 new test cases added to a test plan?

Rockin! Just added and assigned over 5,000 test cases. :)

That is exactly what I was looking for. As long as the test suite structure is done correctly, you can assign and reassign at will. I knew I had to be missing something.

Sorry to take up your time with an issue that is in the manual.
