Manage variants of basic product


Hi,

I am using TL 1.9 and am stuck at a certain point.

I want to manage test plans for a product / project which shares a common feature set however does have some feature enhanced "forks"

I tried to use custom fields to search for test cases like

contains cf "A" but not cf "B"

Test cases / suites might be imported into TL

I am stuck at the test step levels - they need to be more flexible...

2.2 short sentences and ellipisis (...) provide absolutely no clue.
Please explain in detail how you will make it more flexible (that by the way means nothing as requirement)
