TL 1.9.3
We have created a new version (version 2) of a testcase, how can we add this new version to our testplan/build?
The reaseon we created a new version is that after we executed the testcase we notice some errors, so we created a new version with the errors corrected. And now we want to have this new version in our testplan.

In version 1.9.3, the test plans where the test case has been added takes it automatically when there is a newer version of that test.
So, I guess, you need not worry about it.

This is not true, without user intervention linked test case version is NOT UPDATED

Let me add more clarity to what I did to see this:
1. Test name 'xx 1' is already executed atleast once (please notice the space between xx and 1)
2. Go to test specification
3. In the tree click on the test 'xx 1'
(I would like to rename this test to xx1 without space. Since this test is already executed, it cannot be edited.)
4. Click on 'Create a new version' (PS: I have not deactivated the current test version)
5. When new version created, click on Edit and change test name to 'xx1' and save
6. Now go to Test executions or (Add/Remove Test cases under Test plan)
You will see that 'xx1' is the test that's now ready for execution. Even though the version has not changed, my test name has changed and I'm able to do my normal operations as intended.
PS: I have changed only the test name. The behavior may be different when a lot more details are changed. I haven't tried that.

you have use a bad use case, because TEST CASE NAME is SAME ALWAYS for ALL Versions.
Try to do not take conclusion for too simple tests
