Query metrics in TestLink 1.9.6

Post by skupienkarol7 »

Hi. I have a little problem. In company, where I'm working we're using TestLink. And to generate raports we were using QueryMetrics. I know that in 1.9.5 version (and in 1.9.4) query metrics doesn't appear. So I have a question. Is it possible that query metrics will return in 1.9.6 version?

unfortunately no, and we have explained in several places that we do not know when we are going to refactor this feature.

Ok, I understand. So, is it possible to change 1.9.5 code (for example copy part code from 1.9.3 version and put to 1.9.5) to restore query metrics on my own? ;) I was digging a little bit but I scared when I saw all files any many line code. Is it quite simple way to do that or this is really hard task?

You can only got from 1.9.3 the idea and the output generated, but you need to rewrite the whole logic.
That is the work we have to do.

Yes, of course I saw this post. But I was wondering, is there possibility to query metrics in specific version, cause I had to decide: try to implement it from 1.9.3 or wait for new version. Thanks for your answers.
