I am attempting to execute tests and appear to be missing the Pass, Failed, Blocked buttons. I do have Save Execution and Save and Move on to Next. Has anyone experienced this?
I have assigned the test cases to both an admin then to a tester neither can execute them.
Missing result buttons during execution

Re: Missing result buttons during execution
And you have created a testplan and assigned testcases to the testplan?
Then you can go to "execute test".
Then you can go to "execute test".
Re: Missing result buttons during execution
Please can you provide pointer to documentation where there are references to 'Pass, Failed, Blocked buttons' ?
We have never had this kind of interface
Seems that on user manual images regarding executing a test case are missing:
Two execution modes
Single test execution: you have to get radio options with available results and a button to save.
BULK execution (has to be enabled on config file): you get list of test cases on test suite and for each test case a combo box with available results and
again a save button.
If you are seeing 'Save' and 'Save and move next' is because you are in the execution feature, and (if there is not a new bug) only way to access it is
to have a test plan, test cases linked to it and a build for test plan.
Do you have elements on left side tree when entered execution feature ?
Info about testlink version used, role used to execute, amount of test case linked to test plan, are critical

In execution mode, single test. No radio buttons for result selection only save execution and save and move to next.
Re: Missing result buttons during execution
PLEASE Open issue on mantis providing
1. testlink version you are using
2. step by setp to reproduce
(you can see some examples on forum)
3. indicate if have you did some special configuration on result status ?
4. check testlink event viewer for relevant error messages.

Re: Missing result buttons during execution
I am hoping I may be able to find a quick resolution to this issue. We are doing a proof on concept on testlink so this is a new installation of 1.9.6 on ubuntu 12.10 no custom results or other configurations just a straight install and setup. I did not see anything in config.inc.php to give any indication the results would be missing. where would logs for testlink on linux be located to view?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Missing result buttons during execution
Very strange
Can we have a teamwork session, that will allow me to give a look to your installation ?
or skype ?
If you want a proof of concept, I think best option is to get the BITNAMI virtual appliance (ubuntu)
you can also can have a server on cloud free for a couple of hour if I'm not wrong

with TL admin account you can access logs via event viewer on menu
