Hello,

Is someone know why the excel format has been removed from the list of the possible formats for many reports?

(I don't like this format but users do.)

Thanks

because they were not real excel files but HTML served to browser with application type that makes browser to think it was excel. Not a good solution that create issues with css and other things => Design choice => will provide real excel where it have any sense and NOT ANYWHERE.

Thanks Francisco for the clarification.

I'm not sure to understand "provide real excel where it have any sense". I'm afraid users want to be able to get excel report for all of them (at least those with ODS available).

any report that seems a matrix is ok to be an excel,
what does not seems a matrix => NO => test specifications, test report

Do not care of bad user habits

I'm agree with you with this rule.

So, wherever ODS is available and XLS is not, that means XLS is missing. Right?
