Excel Test Report showing each test (test result matrix)?

Hi
I'm a new user to Test Link.
The Company is currently on 1.9.9 (moving to 1.9.12 in a few months)
I've searched for a few posts but can't find the answer.

Here's what I would like.
As a Test Manager without access to the pricey tools, I love Excel. Especially at the moment Google Sheets.

So I'd like to do regular extracts showing Test Progress i.e.
Test Name, Status etc.

When I check the different Report Formats, I have different Reports
i.e MS Excel is only a General Test Plan Metrics
Where as Open Office gives me Test Result Matrix, which I'm after.

Is it possible to get the Test Result Matrix in Excel?

2) Has anyone been able to automate report generation?
I'd like to be able to get hourly reports updated into Google Sheet, just wondering if people have tried this?

move to 1.9.13 right now, waiting is an big mistake (IMHO)

I think no, you can be an sponsor for this feature

Hmm, just done a 5 min browsing on a TestLink installation and found the small (but present) icon that allows to generate the excel.

It will be interesting to check if README of TestLink versions > 1.9.9 has some reference to this feature.

That's done it.
Strange there is the option there, but on the left hand menu, selecting Excel reduces the reports to 1.

There is nothing strange, but there have been (and sure will be in future) changes in design choices.
That's why is IMHO a bad choice to stick with old TestLink versions.

An important new:
Give a look to http://mantis.testlink.org/view.php?id=7053, may be with this part of the automatic report generation can be done.
