Exported Testcases from TL has special characters appended.

Hi TestLink,

We have written Test cases in TestLink and when we export those TestCases from TestLink. The values in the exported test cases has few special characters appended to it.

Could you please check and let me know why those special characters are appended and how to export with the original content without any special characters.

Please find the few examples below which gives the values in TestLink and the values after exported from TestLink.

Values in Summary tag

• Verify proper info message should  be shown while enabling FPI for unlicensed 8.0 switch

Values in Summary tag

• Verify information message stating FPI is enabled by default for FOS V8.0  above is displayed when  8.0V & 7.4V product is selected and FPI dailog is launched

Values in Summary tag

• To verify that new Category “GigE Port”, will be show in Add Policy Dialog and new group “ALL_EXT_GE_PORTS” under System Groups will be available in the Rules panel

• To verify that new Category &ldquo;GigE Port&rdquo;, will be show in Add Policy Dialog and &ldquo;RASLog Event&rdquo;,&rdquo;SNMP Trap&rdquo; and &ldquo;E-mail&rdquo; actions will be available Add/Edit Rule panel

Values in Steps tag

• 1.Discover 8.0 and &.7.4 switch 2.create a policy with quiet time and action as SNMP for 8.0 switch using MAPS configure dialog 3.Export the created policy and save it locally. 4.Now Import the file which is exported from 8.0 switch to 7.4 switch 5.Verify Rules configured with Quiet time and Action as SNMP is Imported  Successfully also Quite time with SNMP Action should not work for 7.4 switch

If i am not wrong

1) With Summary Tags:those are the conversions of special characters like "&" and double quotes, etc.. in summary tags. I don't know about all the conversions.
2) With Steps Tag: It is those start & end of paragraph tags. The rest you see is self descriptive.

But to be honest i don't know why this is happening. I am also wondering about the same. By the way i am using TL 1.9.14
