Hi,
I've had a go at doing a redesign of the navigation bar.
Main changes:
- Title is now below the logo.
- buttons have a more tab-like look.
- User info and logout are on the extreme right side of the navbar. This is the layout that is currently used in many sites that require user login. So this will feel familiar to most users.
- Scales up and down nicely between 1024 and 1920 px on IE and chrome. I have not yet tried higher resolutions as I don't have a high res screen available.
Full text search is not yet included as this was not in testlink yet when I started working on this.
Code is available on https://github.com/MichielVT/testlink-c ... arRedesign
Please let me know what you think or if you see some possible improvements.

Re: Suggestion for navbar update
Hi
if you want to contribute the forum is not the way tho have code to be considered by dev team.
If you have contributions: open issue on mantis and then if you want to share with users then open a topic there.
In addition is much better to create a pull request, in order to be able to include in stable code.
Next time unfortunately I'm going to ignore it.

Re: Suggestion for navbar update
Apologies for posting this in the wrong place.
I will keep this in mind if I have any suggestions in the future.
I have created a pull request for consideration of the dev team.
