Hi guys.
when i export test execution results, the XML file has empty value for the parameters timestamp, result, notes and tester.
and i can't import results.
the XML exported file is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!-- TestLink - www.teamst.org - xml to allow results import -->
<results>
<testproject name="project" prefix="test" />
<testplan name="Test Plan" />
<build name="930319" />
<testcase external_id="test-24">
<result>X</result>
<notes>test link rocks </notes>
<tester>put login here</tester>
<!-- if not present now() will be used -->
<timestamp>YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS</timestamp>
<bug_id>put your bug id here</bug_id>
</testcase>
<testcase external_id="test-23">
<result>X</result>
<notes>test link rocks </notes>
<tester>put login here</tester>
<!-- if not present now() will be used -->
<timestamp>YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS</timestamp>
<bug_id>put your bug id here</bug_id>
</testcase>
</results>
any suggestions?

Re: Problem in exporting test results: empty
TL does not support export results.
we can edit exported file manually to import it.
We should edit result, tester and timestamp tag to import results.

Re: Problem in exporting test results: empty
it will be interesting to have details, use acase, other, to undertand why you consider that exporting results on XML format is important.
Then you can use mantis and create a feature request.
Have you explored available reports with it's export options ?
Ah! Do not start post using the word PROBLEM, when you are not sure one exists .

Re: Problem in exporting test results: empty
Our team need the feature as well.
User case: Test team is distributed. That is, some test team members are in CN, some others are in CA. If using testlink in one place, then another team members will complain that access to testlink is very slow because of internet issue. While from manager view, they want all test cases/results are included in one testlink.
Now what we plan to do is, setting up testlink 1.9.10 separately in both CA and CN, and creating different Test Plan in testlink. In daytime, each team members execute test cases and fill test results in each testlink. At night exporting test cases result from test plan of one testlink, then import to another one. While it seems in TL 1.9.10 exporting test result with value is not supported.
Any idea on what we should do with TL supported feature, to solve the issue? Thanks.
