Exact Sequence of Operation to Execute Test Cases

Post by parikshit_parihar »

I am given the responsibility of implementing Test Case Management Tool in our company. I am facing some problems in Executing the Test Cases.

I have created the following :

1. New Product
2. New Component
3. New Catagory
4. New Test Plan
5. New Build
6. And Test Cases

When I go to Execute Test Case it shows me Navigation Filter & Settings and on clicking Update menu Button no action is performed.

How do i assign Build for a Test Plan & Test Case for a Test Plan.

Urgent Help Required.....[/code]

Your steps seems ok, anyway here mine:

1. create new product
2. create components, categories AND TESTCASES
3. create TESTPLAN
4. Choose a testplan and ASSIGN TESTCASES to TESTPLAN
5. Choose a testplan and create BUILD
6.Now you can execute
