Milestones : how to use efficient ?

Post by nirax »

Hi all,

thanks first for this great product. we are currently evaluating it in our office for further usage in the company and may contribute also some development to the project.

i have a small question though :

we fai to understand currently how Milestones work in relation to a test plan.
- when you Edit Milestones where is defined what parts are covered by the A,B,C priority ?
- How to use Milestones efficient in a project ?

And a second question:
Is it currently possible to allow a user to test also using an older build ?

Case: A test plan was generated, first build was generated, a tester is assigned and is testing. A new build is entered as the software evolves. However we find out that this second build has some regression in a part blocking test completely.
A possibility would be to continue testing this part using the first build.

greetings,
dinu
