Redmine integration using Plugin

Post by srscftl »

Hi,

We have configured the plugin http://www.redmine.org/plugins/rp-testlinklink on redmine 3.4.6 for integration with testlink 1.9.17 (with MySQL) and we have some questions.

Is the plugin valid for this integration? Is the plugin compatible with version redmine 3.4.6 and with new vesions?

Which is the best option for integration redmine with testlink?

Thank you for you help.

Regards

Hi
it seems the plugin has been developed by redmine people, then IMHO they are the right source of information.

It's important that you update your testlink installation to branch testlink_1_9_20_fixed.
I do not know if the redmine plugin is compatible with 1.9.20 because since 1.9.18 some important changes to DB schema has been done.

Regarding the best way to integrate, In order to provide some answers is important that you draft the kind of integration do you expect to get.

Hi fnam,

We need to create issues in redmine according to the executed test failed in testlink. Additionaly, we need to fill custom fields in redmine form testlink.

Creating issue can be done with the Teslink -> redmine integration -> no need for plugin
Give a look to examples that are available with testlink installation, explore the folders
