Results deleted after versioning test case

Hi, team member reported that after creating new version of a testcase the results of the execution against previous version are removed from the database. Is there a way to retain the results in DB for reporting purposes.

Also, are there any plans to associate fail/pass/block results to each step within testcase vs. only having that on the test case level?

you need to move to 1.8 ASAP

Thanks for your comment. Does 1.8 address one or both of my concerns? Are there significant schema changes or just new tables added in 1.8?
