1.6 to 1.7 migration concerns

I am testing the migration of data from 1.6 to 1.7. I have over 7,000 test cases. I am wondering if the migration continues behind the scenes even after my browser times out.

Please get the last CVS code, because we have reduce the amount of
feedback and increased the time out.

I've tested migration of 10500 test cases, and have taken 30 min.
