connecting with mssql Bug Tracking System-different webservr

Hi

Need help connecting with mssql Bug Tracking System(mantis) using different webserver.

I am able to connect using testlink (mysql) to a local installation of mantis in mssql.
But when I change the info in mantis.cfg.php file to use other webserver I get a message (in testlink) saying that the connection to the Bug Tracking System has failed.

Using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio I am able to connect to the database using the same information used in the mantis.cfg.php.

Any idea about what can be happening?
Do I need to configure something else when the mssql mantis database is in a different server?

IMHO Your test is not good.
You need to use a simple PHP page to connect from the server where you have installed TL, to the DB server where MS-SQL is running.
This way you will got useful info.

Using a different tool that a PHP application gives not enough info.
