Post by radisys »

I want to know which OS do you used for serving Testlink 1.7?

I found Redhat WS4 and AS4-upd4 doesn't fulfill PHP 5.0 upper requirement,I am trying use get Fedora 6 for testing.

Please advise which Linux is better for using? thanks.

1. I do my tests on Windows XP :( .
2. Any linux with the right packages is OK => you just need to update the PHP RPM, or install RPM, got sources and compile.
This option is not so complicated as seems, I'm a linux/unix guy and did it a lot of times.

Thanks.
I failed to install FC6 on my SATA Mobile 945GM system, so I back to FC5, it is successfully install and I am working on configure it for Testlink.

I love Linux and don't want to host it under windows.

There is no specific requirements for kind of Linux to use. This depends on correct settings for Apache+php. It's possible that fedora6 has some specific settings for web server that couses the problem.
