1.6 -> 1.7 upgrade

I\'ve noticed on the comments on the main page eluded to the fact that it may not be a simple upgrade from 1.6-> 1.7. Are there anymore details available for this issue? I\'d be interested in writing script to update database entries if possible, since I\'d like to stay up to date with the new features. Any information would be great.

Sorry if anything is already in Mantis, I\'m not able to view the tracker currently

For others:
TL team definitely plan to improve installation script for conversion from older versions to newer.

hi havlatm,

Is it possible to direct me to a document about upgrading 1.6 to 1.7 (both db schema and UI)? Our QA team has been using 1.6 heavily, and we'd like to stay up to date with the new features in 1.7.

just download last CVS of 1.7 ( HEAD )
and you will find the semi-automatic migration page.
