Requirements attachment or Link

Hi.

I'm evaluating TestLink (1.7.1) for my company and notice that I cannot attach file to Requirement Specification.

It would be great to attach a file or add a hyperlink to an existing document. Requirement documents are in MS Word or PDF and it would be very useful to link to the document or link to specific paragraph of a document without retyping into TestLink

You can add a feature request to our tracker. It should not be too much work because the functionality is already available. The only new GUI must be added. Anyway you can develop it yourself.

When I tried to associate Test Case to Requirements. I got the following message on when I click on a test case

There are no Requirement Specification document defined
The Requirement Specifications document is empty


I know that I have 3 requirements and they are not empty. Do you have any ideas.

I was also looking for the feature of attaching docs to requirements section. Could you pls mention how to add the GUI and the file name in which it needs to be added?
