Test Excution Time

Post by QVII »

Is there a way to track how long a test case took to execute? Basically the tester would enter the execution time as they marked the test passed/failed.

Then TL will calculate a total execution time for the test plan per build.

If not already available, is something planned for 1.8?

If not planned, I will log an enhancement issue in the tracking system and do some preliminary work on coming up with a solution.

Thanks.

We don't plan to add automatic time logging. It requires that testers regularly mark start and end of testing. This doesn't happen in real world if test manager is not dictator.
So, use custom fields to define appropriate parameter. It should cover your requirement.
