For version 2.1, you listed "Collaboration with Requirements tools" as a planned feature. Does this mean that your long-term strategy for requirements management is integration with existing tools or is that a tactical position?
The reason for my inquiry is that I am currently evaluating TestLink as a requirements management tool. My assumption is that the user base at my company would request several significant enhancements and that we would offer corresponding code contributions to the TestLink project. I’ve found other open source tools that are more closely tailored to the requirements management space, but most of them are dead. TestLink is attractive because it has an active community and would be extremely useful for test analysts in my organization.
At this point, I don’t have specific enhancements in mind, but I would like to ensure that a sizable contribution for requirements management would be welcome, assuming that the quality was acceptable and that the changes were compatible with your architecture. My basic objective is to ensure that I understand the vision for the product.
I truly appreciate your feedback.
Thank you very much.
