TestLink Database for stability and performance testing

Post by rentschler »

Hello TestLink community,

we are looking for a large populated TestLink-Database for stability, performance and migration testing of TestLink.
It should contain of a large number of projects with a large number of requirements, testcases etc.
The idea is to bring the TestLink-capabilities to the limit with that database to have a good stress test environment.
Can anyone provide such a reference database for testing purposes or does have an idea how to create one artifically?

Hi,

Please create a sample test case in TestLink and export the same as XML file. Microsoft has also defined the XML Spreadsheet (XMLSS) format designed specifically for Excel worksheets.
Open the xml file in XLS and Add as many test cases you want to and save the file.
Now, import the newly added test data using import feature of testlink.

This should work fine.
