CTRL+SHIFT+V for pasting

Post by igniti »

Writing test plans can get very time consuming, so copy-pasting becomes a common practice.

Maybe this helps some users who didn't know this yet: WYSIWYG editors often paste all of the information in the clipboard which often includes background colors, font colors, sizes, etc. So it would be even faster to just type the text you just want to paste. By clicking SHIFT+CTRL+V instead of just CTRL+V you can just paste the textual information into the editor window instead of the complete information.

This works for all Windows software, but also Testlink. This prevents to make the test plans look like rainbows.
It's not a big secret, but also some of our developers and testers didn't know of this shortcut.
