NO. I was talking about TEST PLAN. How can I see Test Plan and Its description??sss wrote:Are you mentioning about the test Plan or the test suites. In general the followed terminology is Test Project-> Test Plan-> Test Suites-> Test Cases. You can see the your test cases either through "Edit Test Cases" button or through Specifications , you can find on top menu.
Hope it helps.
I have already created Project ,suites, test cases all. I can see all excpet Test Plan so please help me out in this regards. I have added, assigned test cases and all.
Test Plan Is mostly used when you execute the test cases. For Each Test plan you need to create build and after that when you execute the test cases, you can see the full tree Test Project-> Test Plan-> Build , and in each build the test suites and the test cases created.
Inside specification the Test plan is not visible, i am not sure the reason behind it. But you can see it when you really need it, i.e. when you execute the test cases.
Does this help?

some more digging further tells me that , test plan and test suites are kept independent. Any "senior tester" can create the test suites and the test cases and the "leader" can create the test plan and basically add/remove the test suites and the test cases into the plan.
But still if i want to see the whole testcases/testsuites inside any testplan i didnot see any way to see it, other than executing it .If there are two test plans and i want to compare the test cases in them how can i do it. Is there a way?
