Who is using Testlink for product release tests?

Post by ergo »

Hi,

I'm looking for other users of Testlink who uses it for the test of product releases.

I would like to discuss best practices in Testlink, e.g.
  • How does one map Releases: A new test project for every release with a copy of all test cases or a new test plan for every release?

How does one work with milestones: The concept of milestones and the mapping of testcases with priorities does not fit our model. We have high priority test cases for later milestones so the percentage of test cases with a certain priority is not a meaningful measure for us. I'm thinking about using test plans or keywords to distinguish between milestones/test phases: What do you use?
I'm looking forward to an interesting discussion.

How about my second question: "How does one work with milestones: The concept of milestones and the mapping of testcases with priorities does not fit our model.
