How to import a CSV (Doors) file as requirements?

Hi to everyone,

I'm trying to import a CSV file from Doors, but to no avail. In particular, i'm perfectly able to write an importable CSV file using excel (following the examples given by testlink), but i can't import the output CSV file from Doors cause the synthax is completely different. Is there any option that allows me to create an already importable file from Doors to Testlink? That's to say, did anybody of you find the same issue and solve it somehow?
I think that the only way to do that is to modify the file upstream by Doors, or downstream by excel, but honestly, i wish there's a way to avoid that.

Thanks in advance.

I do NOT have DOORS, and you may have already tried this, but could you export the DOORS output to excel (where you may have to specify other export options to achieve the desired CSV output as if "using excel"), and then try to import?

See this link.

Thanks for replying, but I already tried that way without success. Basically, I just want to know if anyone has ever done it, beacause in the Doors file i have a lot of text as weel as datas, but as soon as i export in CSV format, EXCEl doesn't recognize the text and put it all together with datas. The output file is a mess :(

I also noted in this other Doors documention, that it is possible to export to a spreadsheet that seems to be separate option than the "to Excel" option.

Could the spreadsheet option be a better alternative?
