Error in proceeding with Test Link 1.8

Hi,

As soon as I get logged in Testlink 1.8.5 version error is coming...

Deprecated: Function ereg_replace() is deprecated in C:\wamp\www\testlink_1.8.5\testlink\lib\functions\lang_api.php on line 173

Could anyone please letme know how to clarify this.

I am a new user to testlink. I have been using testlink 1.9 from last 2 weeks, but for some reason want to use 1.8 version.

Kindly help me...
