Run mode

Hi,

on Execution page for each executed TC I see a column Run mode with pic "Manual".

What does it mean?
I didn't find a place to set Run mode for a TC. Can I set up Run mode to "Automated" or something similar?
Why do we have this column if it is not displayed in reports?

Trying out TestLink 1.8.3 ... I'm wondering the same thing about the "Run mode" column. I would have expected it to echo whether each testcase was marked with an "Execution type" of manual or automated ... but the manual icon is still displayed for an automated test ...

Hi Gyrm,

I have found that in Test Project Management you can set a checkbox Test Automation for each test project. It gives a possibility to set Run Mode on Specification page for each test case.

But it is not usefull for me bacause I can't see run Mode based reports.
If there is no visibility of Run Mode based test cases - it has no sens IMHO.

Does anybody know how to see Run Mode information in TestLink reports?
