The user manual for testlink 1.8 (see section 8.4) claims that testlink "will summarize those fields during the reporting process" but I have not been able to make this work in any of the available reports.

This is something much in demand and I would score major points with my users if I could get this working.

Every hint appreciated

It actually works as described in the manual -- I've used it in our project . However, the totals are only viewable when generating report (Test Report). You just need to check on the Metrics tick box. Results are at the bottom part of the report, something like this:

Reports and Metrics

Estimated time for executing 492 test cases (hours):41.15

Time used for executing 492 test cases (hours):26.66

Would be nice though if this can be displayed part of the Metrics dashboard page. At least you would have a feel on how much time needed/spent to complete the tests.

The instructions are best described in the Testlink1.8.3 user_manual.pdf page 41-45.

Let me know if you get stuck somewhere following the instructions from the user manual.

Hi Maorazon

Today I have tried the same again and i m still unable to Calculate Estimate Execution Time & Actual/Real Estimate Execution Time in Test link. I follow the same steps mention in User Manual but i didn't understand where to use dot operator as it is "Localizations: Use “ . “ (dot) as decimal separator or sum will be wrong." mentioned on User Manual.

Test Plan Shows "Estimated time for executing 12 test cases (min):0"

Besides this How we calculate Real Execution Time in Test Link.
Can You Tell me where i m doing wrong or how can i calculate both Time.
Thanx in ADvance
