Need a way to add a Custom Field which can accept big values

Hi,

I would like to add a custom field in Test Case Design. The size of this field should be approximately 5000.

I tried creating a custom field. But i am not able to type more than 255 characters.

Selected Type for the custom field while creation : String

this has been solved on 1.9 , you can make change to your 1.8 reading code form 1.9 is not difficult
