Assign the same test case of different versions on the same

Post by diegopandolfo »

Friends,

I have two versions of a test case and I need to assign it to the tester the two versions of the same test case within the same test plan. Neither version has yet been executed by the testator.

Is that possible?

Can not be done, ONLY ONE test case version can be linked to a test plan.
Only thing you can do (that do not solve your problem) is to update linked test case versio AFTER version has been executed, WITHOUT LOOSING previous version exec results

It was what I imagined. Thank you very much for your reply.

This does not make much sense since the versions of the test cases are increased. Suffice to implement the latest version of the test case that would cover the planning. But here in the company created a test plan for each project in Testlink managed and any other tool in the middle of this project, there is a request to change the same functionality, and end up only creating a new version of the test case in Testlink, and if the testator has not run any version, I can not assign the two.
