Upgrade from Testlink ver. 1.6.2 to ver. 1.8.5

We are working for the last 5 years with Testlink ver. 1.6.2 and we would like to upgrade to ver. 1.8.5.
What are the needed steps for performing this upgrade?

Have you upgraded your TESTLINK?
I have a same problem - what I did not understand should I install (and migrate) 1.7 then 1.8 and finally 1.9 ? Any chance to do all together?

you can not do together. Please migrate from 1.6.2 > 1.7 > 1.8 > 1.9. in this order

We have not started this process yet, since we are looking for an expert that will be able to help us performing the upgrade process (since there is DB tranformation involved). Can you recommend an expert that will be able to help during this process?

I have exactly same problem. I do not want to install TL 3 versions 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9.
Any chance to send database dump (MySQL) to Expert who will migrate it and send me back ?
