No option Visible in TestLink1.8

Hi,
I have installed TestLink1.8 beta successfully.[there some error initially with a line, by seeing a forum post, i have commented it]
When i login, i can see only "Home", "Personal" "Logout" option. Also right most side one "Test Project" with a blank drop down list.

Could anyone please tell why other options are not visible? [ i am logging in as admin]

You need to creat a testplan then a test project,then you would be able to see something on in drop down box.

I guess that it depends on some php settings together with changes in tlUser class.
