hi everybody,

I am wondering why do I need an anonymous user for my BTS?

from my point of view after safing the test execution result I have to click on the link for the BTS. then the browser opens the webpage of the bugtracker.
because an anonymous user isn't able to check in bugs, I need to login.

after check in, I need to add the issue-id of the bug into the bug input field. now, testlink gets the information of the bug from the BTS-database.

in both cases I don't need the anonymous user. why do I have to configure it?

I think I've the solution for my question

If the bug-id is addet to TestLink you can see some information about the bug, like bug-id and a short description.
now, an user can click on it. the BTS-webpage opens and he can get more information about the bug.
if the project is private, and the user has a login, there is no problem. but if he doesn't have an account there, he can not see it.
therefore you should create an anonymous user and assign all projects to public.
