TestLink

Hi,
I have configured SMTP in Testlink but when I reset the password of a user, I get incorrect password in E-mail. So, I am not able to login with that password as it says incorrect password. Any help is appreciated.

What version your using, I am using 1.8.5. But give this a try,

I see that when email is sent, the text will be following, this is example

"Your new TestLink password is: <br />Y-2ZIrF:3S-!<br />If you have any further problems please contact your administrator."

Here, there is aproblem where HTML tags are not getting applies, so take the password "Y-2ZIrF:3S-!". and then i tried. This iworked for me. Look into the tracker, if any issues. and then log a defect if this doesnot present.

Take the text between the br tag and give a try

I tried copying the whole string in a notepad and then pasting it in the password column. None of it actually worked.

In that copied string, be sure to NOT include any part of the 'break' <br /> tags.
