TestCase linked

Post by pjcubero »

Hello everybody:
I have one question, how can I link two testcases. I have two testcase that are related. I wanna go from one to another with one clear link, i don't want to have a link how "http://server...", else I want a link like "prueba 2", from another test case...

I hope you understand me.

Thanks in advance, and I wait your reply. (Version 1.8.5)

In edit testcase you can write a text "prueba2", select-it and use the link tool to add the url. Is this what you want ?

Hello, thanks by the fast reply...
Your solution can be one aproximation very interesting...I only see one problem, imagine that the user doesn't know the url to create the link, I can't show the testcases available to link...

I don't know if you understand me...

The users than are creating the testcase must know the server where the testlink is installed and the identificator of the testcase if they want to write the url correctly...

Yes, that is true...
Maybe you can hire a programmer to edit some file and make an interface in the edit testcase menu, where you can link test cases more easy.
