Export only test cases

Hi All,
How do I export only test cases of a particular test project? When I hit "Export all test suites" at the project level, I see that it returns hierarchical data. But I don't want it. I want only the test cases (more specifically the internalid-s) in order to re-use them for importing xml results. (currently we do a manual job of getting this internalid for the test cases and making a results.xml with all the test results).

Or is there a better way to do this?
