Execute the tests manually in TestLink

Post by safowan »

Hello,

I always find trouble when running tests (manually  ).
After assigned the tests to a tester, I connected by the tester and I clicked on "Execute" to execute the tests assigned to him, but instead of finding an interface containing the screenplay and the field test for put the result (successful, ...), I found this interface:

Can I get help please.
Thank you in advance.

Thanks Amaradana for help :)

There is the steps :
- I create a new project
- I create the test plan
- I clique at "Test Specification" to create a new Test Suite
- I create a new Tests Cases
- I clic on "Add to test plan" to add the tests on the right plan.
- On "Test Specification" too, I select the Title of the Test in the left menu and I clic to "Create step"
- I acced to "Assign Test Case Execution" and I assigned the tests to a "user" who has a role : senior tester
- I connected with "user" and I clic to "Execute tests"
- I select the test in the left menu to execute it, but hear I don't see the "steps of the test" and I don't know how to execute the test, I see only this screen :

safowan,

Unless I'm missing something you'll need to create a Build under the Test Plan. Tests are executed against a build. The documentation covers how to go about this.
