Can we execute test scripts from testlin

Hi ,
I would like to know if test link provides facility to execute the automated test cases and the generate a report based on the status.

Any pointers in this regard would be of great help.

Yes, it is possible but not out of the box.

You can use STAF for communication between testlink server and Automation box.

And you would need to add your own code to make use of testlink.

I've run a very short pilot project with STAF/STAX and it's very promising. I'm totally new to TestLink though.

abansal, can one launch a STAX job from TestLink? I. e. how do you integrate TestLink with STAF/STAX? Is it only through the TestLink database and STAX jobs run independently?
