Problems with MySQL and TestLink

We have installed TestLink and MySQL. MySQL is placed on another machine. It isn´t possible to login. Probably there is problems with the authentication with the user account on MySQL database.

What can we do to solve the problems?

We used TestLink 1.7.4

is not TL problem
check you mysql user config to verify if access from remote addresses is granted.
