Testlink 1.6.2

Please let me know how to export test cases to excel in testlink. also what my user id rights I should have to complete this process

Please, migrate to TL 1.8 RC3 and use XML export. Excel is able to accept this format.

How export test cases from testlink 1.6.2

Am using testlink 1.6.2. Could anyone guide me in how to export test case to excel in testlink 1.6.2 . No where in testlink 1.6.2, I found any option wherein I can find exporting test cases to excel.

Please guide if anyone is aware of this exercise.

convert excel to xml and you can use it....
