Problem with sorting on import

I have imported the SRS frm the excel.The sorting number changes after import.
Ex:if the req no is 1,2,3,...10,11....,after importing the number sequence is dispalyed as 1 ,10,11...2,21....3.....
Is there a way to be dispalyed in the same order as we import the document
