Many Issues with 1.8.3 after 1.7.4 upgrade

Version 1.8.3

Upgraded from 1.7.4 recently and have noticed that there are several things happening, the first symptom I noticed was that there were no colors, no test case status being displayed beside the test cases in execution. Then I noticed that there are warnings about undefined properties in the Libraries, mostly from the libraries in the execute branch and some from the smarty templates.

I have checked the config files and made sure that all those elements have been turned on in their respective variables.
