Custom field of type "date" - init year

I´ve created a custom field of the type "date".
Where I can control, which year will be shown in the combo box during filling my custom field?

Actually I get the combo box "year" started with 2010. But I need 2009 there!

there is no option to configure this => add an issue on mantis requesting this.
It would be great if you can contribute with this change.
meanwhile you need to look for code on custom fields class, to change the range for years. I think it can not be so difficult
